There are moments as a photographer that are more important than any real event. You thought having a kid was special? Compared to the lighting that I got to capture in this photo, the birth of your child is as special as eating Special K for breakfast! Now that I've insulted you on a personal level, let me tell you about the piece you are looking at. This is one of my favourite photos that I have ever captured, it could be that leading up to this point I was having a miserable day for captures and was really fighting to shoot anything special, so when the right light hit this cliff face it just made me fall in love. I went back to this beach a few times during my stay, as the rocks really stood out to me, they featured a beautiful texture and the colour (the way they reflected light) was just really unique.
